The Teasel is always a sight to behold in late summer. The large prickly heads were traditionally used to raise the surface threads of woven wool cloth so the cloth could be trimmed to a fine surface. Tansy, also known as Golden Buttons, is a beautiful bright yellow that can often be seen growing under Teasel by the roadside. Simple stitching and lots of beads make for an easy and pleasant kit to do. As with most Rowandean kits there is plenty of scope to do your own thing!
