Woodland Pheasant

Absolutely loved doing this mini pheasant kit. I'm a keen crocheter but fancied doing something a bit different and embroidery painting kept catching my eye on social media sites. I saw a Rowan dean mini kit demonstration on Hochanda so I thought why not... lets start with a kit and see how I get on. I am totally hooked. I have dug out my late mum's silks and stand, she was a keen cross stitcher. This kit has inspired me to have a go at stitching my own creations too. I can honestly say Rowan dean kits are great value for money. You get loads of silks, I would say enough to complete at least two more pheasants. So, I'm just about to buy some more fabric and another kit too. Think I will try one of the butterfly ones next.
